The Process Safety Engineer serves as the APS Americas subject matter expert and strategic leader for Process Safety Management (PSM), including combustible dust risk management and other process hazard analysis programs.
Reporting to the APS Americas Sr. Manager, the role provides technical leadership and governance for EC manufacturing sites while serving as the process safety and combustible dust resource across APS Americas.
The role partners with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Capital Projects, HSE, Site Leadership, and Corporate Process Safety to identify, evaluate, and reduce process risk; strengthen organizational capability; and ensure compliance with LYB standards and regulatory requirements. A key expectation is building sustainable site ownership by standardizing best practices and embedding process safety into daily operations, decision-making, and continuous improvement.
