This role in summary
Whirlpool is looking for a Product Development Engineer for our Laundry Structures and Package team. The engineer will be responsible for integral Laundry Mechanical Structures and Package subsystem deliverables, including development, execution, verification and validation, working with global cross functional teams during various phases of projects and across various technologies such as structural mechanics, sheet metal design, EPS design, rubber, glass, etc.

Drive New Product Development / Cost & Quality projects for the Laundry business with a focus on structural components (Cabinet components) and Develop and package components
Responsibility for the technical specification for all Cabinet and Package components
