We're looking for Biology experts with advanced degrees to tackle complex, real-world scientific problems that help train the next generation of cutting-edge AI models.
This is a fully remote, adaptable contract role. You'll work asynchronously alongside leading AI researchers, applying your domain expertise to problems that actually matter — with no commute, no lab politics, and no rigid schedule.
Develop, solve, and critically review advanced biology problems with real-world scientific relevance
Design complex problem statements drawing on expertise in genetics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or related disciplines
Evaluate AI-generated scientific reasoning for accuracy, depth, and rigor
Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to improve model performance
Ensure scientific clarity and precision across all deliverables
Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
Master's or PhD in Biology or a closely related field (Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, etc.)
Strong expertise in at least one of: genetics, biotechnology, or bioinformatics
Comfortable coding in Python or R for research or data analysis
Exceptionally clear written communicator — you can explain complex science without sacrificing accuracy
Detail-oriented and methodical — scientific rigor is non-negotiable for you
Fluent in English
Nice to Have
Prior experience with data annotation, evaluation systems, or AI training workflows
Background in research, academic publishing, or science communication
Familiarity with bioinformatics pipelines, genomics tools, or computational biology method
