**Introduction to Role**:
Are you ready to take the next step in your career? As a Payroll Junior Analyst at AstraZeneca, you will supervise and train a team of administrators, handle non-routine queries, and ensure payroll procedures are well established and documented. This role reports directly to the Head of Payroll and is a key part of our Enabling business area.
**Accountabilities**:
In this role, you will be owning the daily operations of your assigned payroll unit, training and assessing performance, and providing follow ups. You will coordinate the maintenance of payroll records, logs, and files in accordance with company policy and any country-specific laws and regulations. Your role will also involve scheduling and assigning work, implementing established payroll-related policies, procedures, and regulations, performing research, preparing reports, and evaluating and developing changes to the payroll business and computer systems and procedures.
**Essential Skills/Experience**:
- Extensive Payroll Experience
- Knowledge of Local Taxation schemes
- High school Education or equivalent experience
**Desirable Skills/Experience**:
- Educated to Degree Standard
