The Mid-Level QA Engineer performs manual and automated testing to ensure functional working solutions for development projects. The Mid-Level QA Engineer works within the QA Team and developers to proactively build complex testing processes to identify software defects and maintain the integrity of the existing product. Work often requires a high level of initiative in problem solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
**Here's How**
- Contribute to the creation, management, and execution of test cases, test suites, and test runs for both manual and automated testing to certify all releases.




- Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases and bug reports.
- Quickly and accurately perform troubleshooting and repair of existing test scripts.
- Reports defects using the defined reporting process.
- Contributes to establishment of testing procedures, guidelines, standards and protocols to be used by other less experienced test engineers.
- Participate in team meetings (Scrums), working with developers, business analysts, project managers, user advocates, and other testers.
- Tester must analyze the acceptance criteria and break down the requirements so that each requirement is covered by an individual test case.
**What you bring to this role**
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- B.S. Degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3 years testing, programming, or other relevant IT experience.
- At least 1 years' experience with automated testing tools.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Shows initiative on learning existing and developing functionality of the software product.
- Shows a strong attention to detail.
- Follows development standards and produces high-quality code.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g. JIRA)
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g. Cypress, Selenium WebDriver).
- Experience with REST API (e.g. Postman).




- Experience with scripting and programming languages (e.g. C#, JavaScript, Bash, Groovy)
- Experience or knowledge of version control, CI/CD pipeline concepts (e.g. Jenkins, Docker, Github, Bamboo, git).
- Working knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and relational database structures.
- Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools, including JIRA and Confluence.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Nice to Have
Revenue accounting system experience is a plus.
