WE ARE LOOKING FOR ENGLISH/SPANISH INTERPRETER
At Inttraduk we break linguistic barriers by providing over-the-phone interpretation services.
Location: Worldwide. WFH (Work from Home)
Role Description
We have a full time or part time job, independent contractor position for a Spanish-English Interpreter.
The Interpreter will be responsible for providing consecutive, over-the-phone interpretation services in medical, social and legal settings. That is to say, being an intermediary between a party who speaks English and one who does not.
**Responsibilities**:
Provides consecutive, first-person interpretation.
Follows Inttraduk's interpreter protocols, procedures and guidelines.
Follows policies and procedures related to confidentiality and interpreter code of ethics and conduct.
Continuously improves vocabulary and knowledge on the various areas serviced.
Maintain communication and report to your Team Leader whenever necessary.
Follow the appropriate channels of communication as instructed during the onboarding process.
**Qualifications**:
Proficiency/Bilingual/Native level of English and target language
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to provide accurate and culturally sensitive interpretation.
Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
High level of communication, active listening, note-taking,



and memory retention skills.
**Requirements**:
Computer
Dedicated, private, high-speed, wired internet connection.
Noise-free, private space to work in.
Completion of Inttraduk's professional training course in a timely manner.
Successful completion with a passing score of Inttraduk's new interpreter's assessment.
A full Background Check and Security Screen.
A signed commitment to confidentiality, adherence to ethics, and HIPAA compliance.
