**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
Reporting to the Team Lead or Airport Service Manager, you’ll be part of the SITA Global Services team, managing SITA solutions at your assigned airport and territory.
- ** Customer Support**: Provide support to internal and external customers according to their contracts and SLAs. Respond promptly to Service Desk requests, ensuring high customer service levels.
- ** Equipment Maintenance and Repairs**: Maintain and repair customer IT equipment. Perform local repairs to high standards, coordinating with resolver groups. Manage the repair cycle by returning faulty equipment and tracking replacements.
- ** Spares and Equipment Management**: Replace faulty equipment using spares, ensuring timely replenishment. Manage local suppliers and report on their services.
- ** Site Surveys and Installations**: Conduct site surveys for new installations, adhering to guidelines and best practices. Follow Field Operations protocols for installations and repairs.
- ** Preventive Maintenance and Reporting**: Perform preventive maintenance per schedules and manufacturer specifications. Report workshop performance and provide feedback to regional management.
- ** Documentation and Communication**: Maintain accurate daily logs and record data in the SITA Service Hub. Act as the customer’s SPOC when needed,
coordinating with resolver groups and escalating issues as necessary.
Qualifications:
**WHO YOU ARE**
- ** Minimum Qualification**: Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent IT qualification (e.g., CompTIA Network+ or CompTIA Server+).
- ** Experience**: 3 years of experience in IT equipment maintenance.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPNs) and network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with system integration and interaction between different technologies.
- Proficiency in using tools for diagnosing hardware/software issues.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and implement updates/patches.
**_ NICE-TO-HAVE:_**
- ** ITIL Foundation Certificate**: A plus, demonstrating knowledge of IT Service Management practices and understanding of key ITIL concepts.
- ** Experience**: Previous experience providing field services and support for IT equipment in the air transport industry.
