Job Information
The Electrical Technician will provide direct support to manufacturing operations by troubleshooting & documenting root cause of electrical defects on Doosan Bobcat Compact Equipment. Work with Quality, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality,
and Product Engineering groups on containment and corrective actions pertaining to electrical defects. Monitor, evaluate, train, and improve electrical system installation processes. This role also executes other elements of the Sustaining Engineering functions.
Role & Responsibility
Electrical Root Cause Analysis
Understand electrical schematics and know how to use troubleshooting tools to diagnose electrical defects.
Is responsible for investigating electrical failures, non-conformities, and field returns related to complex electrical issues including wire harnesses
Containment and Corrective Action
Work with appropriate engineering groups to contain defects and initiate corrective actions.
May include updating standard work and ECN implementation support.
Root Cause Documentation
Work with Quality Engineering team to appropriately document electrical defects. Includes documentation of problem, root cause, and resolution.
