JOB SUMMARY
Manages the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities. Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs. Designs and develops organizational policies relevant to the facilities department. Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facilities expansion. May have responsibility for establishing and overseeing health and safety standards. Selects, develops,



and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment and Retention
• Recruit, interview and hire for the Environmental, Health, Facilities and Safety team.
• Communicate criteria to recruiters for the Environmental, Health, Facilities and Safety team.
• Coach Facilities and EHS staff in the interviewing/hiring process if required.
• Monitor team member turnover; identify key factors that can be improved; make improvements.

Employee and Team Development
• Identify individual and team strengths and development needs on an ongoing basis.
• Create and/or validate training curriculum in area of responsibility
• Programs, Safety & Health Programs, Emergency plans, Business Continuity Plan)
• Coach and mentor Facilities and EHS team members to deliver excellence to every internal and external customer
