As an API Engineer, you will design and manage the core infrastructure that powers our internal and external communications. You will ensure that our API ecosystem is secure, scalable, and provides a seamless experience for developers through robust gateway management and documentation standards.

What You'll Do

Design and implement scalable API gateway architectures using tools like Kong or Apigee.
Manage the full API lifecycle, including versioning strategies, rate limiting, and deprecation policies.




Define and enforce security standards for authentication and authorization across all API endpoints.
Develop and maintain comprehensive API documentation and developer portal experiences using OpenAPI specifications.
Optimize API traffic and performance through intelligent routing, caching, and request transformation.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to establish enterprise-wide API standards and governance frameworks.

What We Are Looking For

8+ years of experience in API Engineering, Software Architecture, or Infrastructure.
Proven expertise in designing and managing enterprise-grade API infrastructure and gateways such as Kong or Apigee.
Proficiency in API design standards including REST, OpenAPI specifications, and versioning strategies.
Hands-on experience implementing API security, rate limiting, and developer portal experiences.
Strong background in building scalable and highly-performan
