Principal Technical Program Manager, Engineering Enablement
Overview
The Software Engineering (SE) Guild is a general community of 8,000+ software engineers across Mastercard. The SE Guild exists to develop and share knowledge, standards, practices, and tooling, and to help elevate and maintain the craft of software engineering across the company.
This role is primarily focused on program administration, knowledge management, community enablement, and operational excellence rather than hands-on software engineering.



The individual will be responsible for managing and continuously improving the Software Engineering Guild’s onboarding programs, documentation ecosystem, knowledge repositories, and community resources, ensuring consistency, scalability, and exceptional employee experience. Working closely with Engineering leaders, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and other cross-functional stakeholders, this role will drive governance, content strategy, business continuity planning, and process optimization initiatives that support a large, distributed engineering organization. Success in this position requires strong program management, organizational, communication, and content management skills, along with the ability to understand technical concepts and engage effectively with engineering teams, while maintaining a strong focus on operational execution, stakeholder coordination, and continuous improvement through automation and data-driven
