Title: QA Automation Engineer
Location: Hybrid - 3 days in office in Mexico City or Toluca
Duration: Full Time

Role Summary:
Lead and scale test automation across modern and legacy platforms, ensuring quality, traceability, and release confidence.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks and regression suites.
Build API, integration, end-to-end, and non-functional automated tests.
Integrate quality gates and automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Mainframe experience (COBOL, CICS, JCL, TSO, DB2 or similar).
Define test data strategy and maintain traceable quality evidence.
Identify quality risks early and drive remediation plans.
Define Test strategy and produce Test Project Completion Certificates

AI Skills for This Role:
Use AI to propose test scenarios, edge cases, and coverage gaps.
Use AI support for defect triage and regression prioritization.




Generate initial automation scaffolds with AI, then validate and harden them.
Critically review AI-generated assertions and expected outcomes.

Required Qualifications:
5+ years in QA automation/SDET roles.
Strong experience with API/service testing and automation frameworks.
Strong understanding of test strategy and quality metrics.
Good SQL/data validation skills.
English proficiency: professional working level or above (B2/C1 preferred).

Nice to Have:
Experience in regulated and mission-critical systems.
Exposure to performance testing, contract testing, and test data management.

Work model: Hybrid - 3 days on-site at Client's offices in Tecnoparque (CDMX) or in Toluca
