About the Role
At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Network Engineer to design, maintain, secure, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across client environments.
This is not a helpdesk or support-only role. You’ll take ownership of network reliability, performance, and security across enterprise environments while supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term infrastructure initiatives.
Working across routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, monitoring systems, and hybrid cloud environments, you’ll ensure network infrastructure remains stable, secure, scalable, and highly available.

ResponsibilitiesNetwork Infrastructure & Configuration
Configure, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
Implement and manage:
VLANs
QoS
VPN tunnels
Access Control Lists (ACLs)
Routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP
Perform firmware upgrades, patching, and infrastructure maintenance.
Support network expansion projects, migrations, and infrastructure upgrades.
Maintain reliable connectivity across multi-site and hybrid environments.
Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting
Monitor network health using tools such as:
SolarWinds
PRTG
Nagios
Zabbix
Diagnose and resolve latency, packet loss, DNS, routing, and connectivity issues.
Troubleshoot escalated incidents using tools such as Wireshark and TCPdump.
Perform root-cause analysis and implement long-term preventive solutions.
Participate in on-call support and respond to critical network incidents when required.
