About The Role

We are seeking to add an AVP to our Institutional Rates Sales Desk, a unique opportunity to join an early-stage franchise and play an active role in building it from the ground up. The role will be directly involved in the origination, development, and execution of business with institutional clients, working closely with the desk head to expand Banamex’s presence in fixed income and derivatives markets.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong financial markets expertise, and a commercial orientation. The idóneo candidate will be capable of developing long-term relationships with institutional investors, identifying business opportunities, and delivering value through fixed income and derivatives solutions.

The successful candidate combines deep technical knowledge of fixed income, FX, and derivatives products with strong communication, execution, and teamwork skills. We particularly value professionals who have participated in launching, implementing,



or building new business initiatives and who thrive in dynamic environments with significant strategic impact.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage commercial relationships with institutional clients, including pension funds (Afores), mutual funds, insurance companies, asset managers, banks, and other relevant market participants.
Originate, structure, and execute fixed income, interest rate derivatives, FX, and hedging solutions for institutional clients.
Identify business opportunities and actively contribute to the growth of Banamex’s Rates franchise.
Work closely with the Head of the desk on revenue tracking and business development initiatives.
Coordinate closely with Trading, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Investment Banking, Operations, and other support functions to ensure efficient transaction execution.
