The Employee Partner is responsible for maintaining and improving employee relations on-site at the assigned locations. The Employee Partner is the face-to-face contact person for employees, supports them in resolving individual issues, such as complaints and wellbeing matters, and ensures transparent communication between management and workforce.
Principle Activities:
Support employees (especially direct employees on-site in the plant) in the event of concerns, e.g. frequent and long term absence, grievances, investigations, etc.
Act as Leadership Partner for shopfloor leaders: Support in daily leadership business and advise in people-related topics along the employee lifecycle, taking into account relevant legal and corporate guidelines
Advise employees in individual (non-transactional) matters based on policies, guidelines and (legal) regulations
Review and resolve complex individual (non-transactional) employee matters, cooperate with and coordinate between internal (e.g. Leadership Partner, CoEs, legal department) and external stakeholders (e.g.
company health care provider), taking into account relevant legal and corporate guidelines
Ensure involvement of Leadership Partner if the employee matter concerns a leadership topic
Investigate and analyze concerns/challenges of employees, identify patterns and trends and derive fields of action
Make Leadership Partner / leaders aware of identified fields of action and support in deriving appropriate actions in collaboration with Leadership Partner and other relevant stakeholders (e.g. leaders, CoEs, employees’ representatives)
Ensure compliance with internal work regulations, collective bargaining agreements, and the Federal Labor Law.
Support the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of the environmental management system at all applicable levels of the organization and report incidents and opportunities for improvement to the on-site environmental manager.
