We're looking for Master's-level chemistry experts to help train and improve some of the world's most advanced AI models. Your scientific knowledge will directly shape how AI understands and reasons through complex chemistry — from organic synthesis to biochemical pathways.
This is a fully remote, flexible contractor role. No AI experience required — just deep chemistry expertise and the ability to think critically and communicate clearly.
Design challenging, high-quality chemistry problems to rigorously test AI reasoning and performance
Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with well-structured logic across domains such as chemical engineering, biochemistry, and physical chemistry
Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, depth, and quality of reasoning
Collaborate with researchers to build and refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate through Master's-level chemistry topics
Provide structured,
actionable feedback that helps improve AI model outputs over time
Who You Are
Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
Strong problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry domains
Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing
Detail-oriented and consistent when evaluating technical content
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on an async schedule
No prior AI experience required
Nice to Have
Experience with data annotation, data quality review, or evaluation systems
Familiarity with large language models or AI research workflows
Background spanning multiple chemistry sub-disciplines
