We are looking for a talented IT Operations Director - LATAM to join our team specializing in IT for our Cummins in México.

Job Summary

The IT Operations Director-LatAm leads the strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement of IT operations, ensuring infrastructure, systems, and services align with business objectives and support secure, reliable, and scalable operations. This leader oversees IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments, driving operational excellence through automation, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making. The role partners closely with enterprise technology, cybersecurity, and business leaders to ensure service performance, compliance, resiliency, and cost effectiveness, while leading incident management, vendor relationships, and regional IT teams to deliver consistent, high-quality support across the organization. This role is based in San Luis Potosi on-site with flexibility.





What You Will Be Able To Accomplish

Define and execute the regional IT strategy for DBU Latin America, ensuring alignment with general business objectives and local market requirements
Lead, develop and mentor multidisciplinary IT teams across multiple countries in LATAM, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and operational excellence
Oversee the delivery of major technology programs and projects, ensuring that timelines, budgets and quality standards are met
Collaborate with global technology teams to align regional priorities, share best practices and accelerate enterprise-wide initiatives
Establish performance metrics and reporting mechanisms to monitor service quality, operational performance and technology outcomes.
Oversee the transition of the regional LATAM IT teams to a product-oriented structure
Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities where technology
