This role is responsible for continuously improving test performance and equipment, troubleshooting complex issues, supporting equipment installation and changes, and providing technical guidance. **Functional Test Support Engineers**also play a key role in implementing and validating testing equipment and identifying best practices globally.
**Key Job Accountabilities**:
- Partner with both the functional test design engineers and the manufacturing teams to successfully meet customer requirements.
- Develop complex test cases to verify system functionality. Identify and troubleshoot issues in the test systems when they arise in the manufacturing environment.
- Produce comprehensive project documentation in accordance with the quality and change management procedures and guidelines.
- Utilize appropriate tools and equipment to perform necessary design work including design creation, design analysis, and design verification.
- Develop engineering/product concepts that are high-quality, cost-appropriate,



and satisfy the customer's requirements where applicable, while establishing an area of technical specialty and mentoring others on the team (in-discipline).
**Education/Experience Qualifications**:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required; a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is preferred.
- Three (3) years of related experience is required.
- LabVIEW experience is preferred.
- C++ experience is preferred.
- Lab tool/test/measurement equipment experience preferred.
- Ability to develop good working relationships with team members and customers.
- Ability to problem solve independently.
