In this position...
The Ford Purchasing team adds critical value to the entire organization. You’ll
help us source the highest quality parts and services from around the globe
while ensuring optimal cost and on-time delivery. You’ll also contribute to
establishing a robust supply chain so that we can continually produce the
vehicles our customers want.
Every vehicle depends on a reliable electrical backbone — and that starts with
the wiring harness. As a Wire Harness Buyer, you'll play a critical role in
bringing new vehicles to life by shaping the sourcing strategy, supplier
relationships, and cost structure behind this essential component. You'll
partner closely with engineering and supply chain teams to ensure the right
suppliers, the right pricing, and the right quality are in place from early
design through vehicle launch — directly influencing product competitiveness and
program success. This is an opportunity to combine strategic thinking,
negotiation skill, and hands-on problem-solving in a fast-paced, high-impact
procurement role.
