Job Overview

Analyzes and develops logistics plans to control the movement of commodities from storage to distribution and to ensure the smooth running of operations.

Job Requirements

Assisting in the development of process flows to track lead time by activity and identifying opportunities to reduce lead times.
Identifying opportunities for improvements including cost, quality, and service of customer needs and issues.
Implementing and maintaining monitoring systems to provide information on shipment status, shipped date, in transit location, estimated arrival date, and vigente delivery date.
Generating and analyzing reports of transportation costs and carrier performance. Planning and tracking lead times including compliance with related regulations.

Position Summary

The Materials and Internal Logistics Manager leads materials management, inventory control, warehousing,



and internal logistics operations. This role ensures material availability to support production while optimizing inventory levels, improving material flow, maintaining inventory accuracy, and achieving safety, quality, delivery, cost, and customer service objectives.

Experience

7+ years of experience in materials management, warehousing, logistics, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
5+ years leading teams in manufacturing or distribution environments.
Strong experience with MRP, inventory management, warehouse operations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Technical Knowledge

MRP, Inventory Management, WMS, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics).
Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Supply Chain Metrics, and Warehouse Operations.
Health, Safety, and Compliance Standards.
