How do you add value to the role?
The Controls Engineer develops and commissions electrical and automated control systems for industrial machinery based on customer specifications and in accordance with engineering principles, international standards, and industry best practices. The position involves implementing complex control algorithms for the design and development of control software, identification systems, and signal processing applications.
Requirements
-Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related Science discipline.
-Languages: Advanced English.
Experience
3 to 5 years integrating industrial automation applicacions.
Experience developing moderately complex control applications.
Demonstrated participation in machinery commissioning and start-up activities.
Knowledge
- Programming and troubleshooting of Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs.
Proficiency in TIA Portal, STEP 7, Studio 5000, and FactoryTalk.
Development and modification of HMI systems.
Troubleshooting of PROFINET, PROFIBUS, EtherNet/IP, and industrial communication networks.
Reading and interpretation of electrical and pneumatic schematics, as well as automation sequences.
Knowledge of industrial vision systems, preferably Keyence, Cognex, or equivalent solutions.
Main Responsibilities
Executes specialized technical services for internal and external customers, either locally, remotely, or on-site. The objective is to ensure that assigned control systems operate efficiently and in compliance with industry and quality standards.
