What is your role?
As a Process Automation Supervisor, you will lead a team of Automation and Controls Engineers responsible for developing, implementing, and scaling advanced manufacturing equipment and systems. You will provide technical leadership, execute high-impact automation projects, and collaborate with general teams, system integrators, and manufacturing sites to deliver world-class automation solutions.

Major responsibilities and tasks of the position:
Lead and develop a team of Automation and Controls Engineers, including coaching, mentoring, and talent development.
Drive the design, startup, integration, and optimization of high-volume manufacturing equipment and automated systems.




Act as the subject matter expert for PLCs, HMIs, motion control systems, machine vision, sensors, and electro-mechanical devices.
Manage automation projects from concept through production launch, ensuring successful delivery on time, within budget, and according to performance expectations.
Collaborate with external machine builders, system integrators, and internal stakeholders to implement innovative automation solutions.
Ensure engineering documentation and electrical drawing packages comply with Corning standards.
Support manufacturing productivity, equipment reliability, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What do you need to have?
Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Automation, Controls, or Electrical Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
