Job Description
The Quality Control Inspector will report directly to the Operations Manager.
This position will be responsible for completing produce inspections, providing inspection details to the sales team and providing support our ripening team. Since produce is highly perishable, you will be working in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to verify the quality and condition of produce items to determine if products meet CFIA/USDA standards will help assure the quality and freshness of inbound and outbound shipments to retail and foodservice customers.
This individual will work primarily out of the 302 Dwight Avenue facility but will require the ability to travel to our Ontario Food Terminal location on occasion. Although the primary schedule for this individual is 40 hours per week, our idóneo candidate can work a adaptable schedule to accommodate the needs of the business which may include occasional evenings and weekends.
