RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the business partner of MU Core Finance roles, Operations and Services team (none exclusive) to align Cost accounting criteria and requirements.
- Be the contact, expert and leader in Latam to any Revenue recognition and/or cost related treatment with US GAAP and Local GAAP rules for countries support.
- Support and make sure that each entity is perming on a monthly basis the review of WIP, Deferred Revenue and Unbilled. Align any dispute or final decision with the MU core finance and Regional Finance Manager/Controller. When it is required escalate any issue with the Finance VP of Latam.
- Support the implementation in all countries of the revenue recognition check list/analysis and any other tool that can be implemented in the region to support our revenue recognition approach. Make sure such document is filled and analyzed as per the rules established and for all the transactions that we require to have analyzed.
- Support the business decision in terms of Revenue recognition to be applied.
- Follow up and support local MU finance core in Projects closing status.

- Support the Operations team in the analysis and standardization in all inventory related items including but not exclusive of E&O; policies, templates, rules; Cost roll up, Annual inventory, Cost Accounting reports related to PPV variances, Freight in and out and other required by the team to align our teams across the region.
- Support the services finance manager in the alignment of rules and reporting in all countries.

- Coordinate and supervise a team that will oversee the activities mentioned above for Peru, Chile, Mexico and Colombia
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economy, industrial engineer with studies or specialization in finance related programs.
- 5+ years work experience taxes related work in at least one of the main countries in the region.
- ERP experience Oracle preferred.
- Knowledge, experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office specially Excel, Word and Power Point.
- Experience audits and external reviews.
- Medium/High English capabilities
