Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Supplier Quality Product Specialist.
Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. What you’ll do:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A. Problem solving based in 8D during PPAP approval process for SCRs, VAVE and Cost Out projects
B. Responsible to approve PPAP for SCRs, VAVE and Cost Out projects.
C. Communicate quality issues to suppliers and sister plants in any stage of the SCRs, VAVE and Cost Out Projects development
D. Review supplier response to DMR in Wisper system, including process escalation for Hi-Impact DMR.
E. Ask for disposition of non-conforming material to supplier after concluded sorting
F. Coordinate PTRs for new parts introduction with Production Areas.
G. Scrap and Non-conforming material control and apply charge back to supplier due to scrap on quality issues for SCRs, VAVE and Cost Out projects
H. Support Focus Supplier process
I. Follow up ZMPD/LMPD for quality issues related to external suppliers due SCRs, VAVE and cost out projects
J. PPAP Process follow up for SCR’s, VAVE and cost out projects
K. Coordinate the work with the Supplier Quality Analyst (SQA) working in the area.
L. Implements, promotes, and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accidents prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. Identify, control and administer risk and danger in own area.
