Role Description The Plastics Automotive Mold Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in the Queretaro Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring plastic injection molding equipment used to produce automotive components according to specifications and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing molds, adjusting machine parameters, performing quality checks on parts, and troubleshooting production issues to minimize downtime. The technician will perform routine maintenance on molds and machines, document production data, and collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet output and quality targets. The role may also involve participating in continuous improvement initiatives, supporting process optimization, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications
Experience with plastic injection molding processes for automotive components, including mold setup,



operation, and basic troubleshooting.
Knowledge of manufacturing quality standards and inspection methods, with the ability to read technical drawings and follow work instructions.
Basic mechanical and technical skills related to machine maintenance, tool handling, and safe equipment operation.
Ability to work on-site in the Queretaro Metropolitan Area, follow safety protocols, and support a clean and organized production environment.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Prior experience in automotive manufacturing or plastics production is preferred; vocational training or technical degree in a related field is beneficial.
Willingness to work full-time shifts and adapt to production schedules; basic computer literacy for recording production and quality data.
