The Sourcing Engineer (SE) is responsible for managing the entire sourcing process from the initial request for quotation through to the final shipment and billing. Key responsibilities include foreign customer and local supplier relationship management, quote/ process documentation, and negotiation of prices and terms. In addition, this position requires the handling of multiple projects from different industries simultaneously.
**Duties and responsibilities**
- Manage multiple ongoing sourcing projects from different industries while maintaining the required timelines.
- Documentation of the entire quote/project process according to corporate standards and update management as needed
- Communicate accurately and build relationships with foreign clients and local suppliers.
- Identify factories that may meet client needs and screen/audit.




- Travel as needed to interact with suppliers.
- Optimally negotiate price and terms.
- Resolve issues as needed.
**Qualifications**
- College degree in mechanical/industrial/electrical/manufacturing engineering, or completion of applicable program
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with suppliers, working experience in trading or sourcing is highly preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office
- Must be organized and able to work with short deadlines as required
- Must be proficient in English - Most verbal and written communications are in English.
