Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Interior Cockpit Design and Release Engineer (DRE) to join our team in Mexico. This role will be responsible for the complete development lifecycle of cockpit systems, including design, validation, release, and integration for automotive interior programs. The idóneo candidate will have a strong background in automotive interiors and experience in managing cross-functional engineering teams and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and release of interior cockpit components (instrument panels, consoles, trim panels, etc.) from concept through production.
Manage engineering documentation including 2D/3D CAD drawings, BOMs, and engineering change notices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Engineering,



Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and Program Management.
Interface with suppliers for tooling, DFM (Design for Manufacturing), and cost reduction strategies.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve design or quality issues.
Ensure compliance with applicable vehicle regulations, internal standards, and customer specifications.
Participate in design reviews, DFMEAs, DVPRs, and validation activities.
Support launch activities and resolve issues during prototype and production build phases.
