In the Girl Scouts of Sierra Nevada Social Work Program you will be able to use your expertise to:
Build rapport with our diverse memberhsip of girls from all over Northern Nevada
Put on and create programs that support girl’s wellbeing and improve their confidence.
Learn about grant writing and non-profit related policy.
Assist in running our food pantry and dinner programs.
Travel and expand your knoweldge regarding rural outreach programs
Internship Details
Next Term: Sept. 2025-May 2026 Applications open April 2025.
BSW and MSW canidates accepted
Pay: $15/hour, plus mileage reimbursement
Hours: 15 hours weekly, typically Monday-Friday from 3-7pm. Occasional weekends
We are adaptable and will work with your school and work schedule.
Six intern positions available.
Off-site supervision provided over Zoom.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
