What You’ll Do
As a Cloud Engineer, you will support Teradata’s as-a-service cloud offerings across public cloud environments (Azure and GCP). You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of mission-critical customer platforms while collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include cloud infrastructure operations, security implementation, incident management, and continuous optimization of cloud-based data warehouse environments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and support mission-critical,
24x7 public cloud environments across Azure and GCP for multiple customers.
Execute risk assessments during task execution to ensure platform stability and minimize service impact.
Implement and maintain cloud security best practices, including compliance and governance controls.
Monitor system throughput, load balancing, and overall platform health; proactively optimize critical cloud resources.
Provide real-time troubleshooting and issue resolution, including participation in live customer calls and incident bridges.
Respond promptly to incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive and corrective actions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for cloud configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Collaborate across globally distributed teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
