POSITION SUMMARY:

The Quality Engineer III is responsible for providing investigation and root
cause analysis of product failures. Works closely with various Engineering
functions (Reliability, Design, Manufacturing, etc) in a closed-loop,
corrective-action process to improve product quality and reliability performance

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Responsible for working with cross-functional groups to coordinate strategies
for meeting customer’s requirements in all quality areas that also serve AE’s
business needs.

· Failure Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, corrective and preventive action due
customer (internal-external) complaints.

· Define, design, develop and Implement SPC tools for assembly tools,
manufacturing, and test fixtures.

· Establish, implement, and maintain the quality management system.

· Interact with Engineering and Operations to ensure an appropriate transfer of
new products, PPAP.

· Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing activities of receiving /
outgoing quality functions.





· Participates in Design Reviews to ensure compliance with reliability standards
and customer requirements.

· Review Engineering Change Requests for customer approval requirements and
submission.

· Perform weekly, monthly trend analysis and coordinate corrective actions with
involved areas.

· Defines SPC to manufacturing processes and monitor weekly and monthly
performance, implement countermeasure.

· Interact constantly with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Materials,
Support Areas to ensure robust processes using PPAP, SPC and LEAN tools.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Proficient knowledge and troubleshooting skills in electronic circuits,
components, PCBs, and manufacturing processes

· Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

· Familiar with diagnostic equipment (SEM, EDX, X-ray analysis, scopes, etc),
statistical yield analysis, physical failure, and root-cause analysis

· Measurable and extensive experience with influencing and negot
