Responsibilities

The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.
- Evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering methods following the structural design codes to independently produce small-mid size project design and engineering calculation
- Solid understanding of structure element design codes (e.g., IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, local codes) with ability to explain code to defend design/analysis methodology to external parties. Able to establish structural design criteria and specifications based on code requirements.
- Perform structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, and (where applicable) wood structures for industrial and high‑performance facilities.
