Fitch is seeking an Intern for supporting the LATAM Corporates Consumer & Retail team based out of our Mexico City or Monterrey office.
Qualitative credentials will weigh meaningfully in the selection of the candidate. A healthy sense of intellectual curiosity is critical, along with a willingness and ability to attack and explain topics of analytical complexity. Fitch is a team-oriented work environment, so excellent communication skills are essential, as is a high productivity work-ethic and results oriented mindset.

We’ll Count on You To:
- Support analysts who are focused on non-financial entities in the LATAM Consumer & Retail team.
- Perform data analysis of key quantitative and qualitative factors influencing the LATAM Consumer & Retail team, in support of existing ratings, new rating mandates and research publications for the team.
- Assist in maintaining Fitch’s financial databases and key economic data.
- Research and surveillance of market information and credit trends.
- Support lead analysts prepare presentations for credit rating committees.
- Support publication of sector-specific research and insightful commentaries.
- Occasionally collaborate with senior team members on presentations for Fitch’s external audience.
- Back office file maintenance.
- Data bases administration.
- Support special projects.
- Plus other duties as required.
What You Need to Have:
- Student in his/her final years of undergraduate in the field
