Job Description
Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams. Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems. May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing. Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment. You will report to Quality Supervisor and this position is located in Monterrey, Manufacturing.
Your Responsibilities:
- Execute and comply with the maintenance program and line support, adhering to standardized processes for effective and safe operation.
- Meet indicators and tasks assigned by the direct supervisor, including closing orders, reporting, and supporting various projects.
- Implement immediate corrective actions based on audit findings.
- Request necessary spare parts from the direct supervisor to ensure equipment availability.
- Provide feedback on preventive maintenance plans according to identified needs.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical failures.
- Implement improvements focused on increasing productivity, quality, and safety.
- Close Daily Work Tickets (DWT) during the shift.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Technical degree in electronics, mechatronics, automation, or a related field.
- Knowledge of electrical diagrams and repair of electronic/electrical boards.
- Handling instrumentation for analysis of electronic boards.
- Experience in electrical fault analysis.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Availability to work shifts.
- Experience in functional testing.
- Collaborative team worker, good communicator.
- Require little supervision to perform tasks.
