Your Role
As a Senior Android Quality Engineer (SDET) at Capgemini, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise mobile applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and sustaining scalable automation frameworks while driving quality engineering best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
This role requires strong expertise in Android test automation, software engineering principles, CI/CD integration, and quality assurance methodologies. You will collaborate closely with development, product,
and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality mobile experiences while continuously improving automation capabilities and testing efficiency.
Responsibilities & Scope
- Design, develop, and execute automated testing solutions for Android mobile applications.
- Build and maintain mobile UI automation using Espresso, Java, and Kotlin.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for applications built with Jetpack Compose.
- Design and enhance automation frameworks with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Collaborate with leadership and engineering teams to identify opportunities for improving automation maturity and testing efficiency.
- Work across multiple platforms and teams to drive consistency and quality engineering best practices.
- Develop new automation frameworks and improve existing automation suites.
- Implement process improvements across development, testing, and automation execution.
- Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based testing sol
