**About the Role**:
This senior role in Swiss Re Corporate Solutions' (CorSo) Business Operations oversees direct insurance and wholesale operations in Mexico City and Miami. Leading a team of ~20 analysts in Mexico City and ~12 offshore professionals in India, the Operations Manager will support operational planning, customer service, stakeholder management, financial management, quality assurance, and coordination with related functions.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Lead BuS teams to ensure compliance with local regulations and group guidelines.
- Maintain close communication with clients to understand and meet their needs.
- Identify and implement process, quality assurance, and reporting improvements.
- Document and update policies, procedures, and SOPs to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate on new initiatives/projects as needed.
- Identify and address potential risks, create action plans, and ensure resolution.
- Monitor financial aspects of business administration monthly.
- Provide required information/data for Internal Control, Compliance, and Internal Audit.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of Operational Regulatory Reports.
- Provide feedback and support staff growth plans, including succession planning.

**About the Team**:




We have an amazing, diverse and committed team of approximately 20 analysts with 2 team leads reporting to this position, they are accountable for the operation of both, direct insurance and wholesale business services processes.
This position also oversees the work of 12 offshore resources based in India, and has high interactions with colleagues and stakeholders in various locations.
**About You**:
**Knowledge and Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related field
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar role within the insurance/reinsurance industry
- Proficiency in Spanish and English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Knowledge of Quality Control Processes, Risk Management, and Internal Controls
- Familiarity with Mexico's insurance sector regulations
