The Service Engineer is a key role within our commercial and business development team. We are seeking a professional with proven technical experience in the installation, programming, and servicing of automated machinery, ideally within the industrial baking or food sector. This position will serve as a primary point of contact with our clients, strengthening relationships while working closely with the sales team to develop new business opportunities in services, spare parts, machinery, and raw materials.
We are looking for a dynamic individual with a strong willingness to learn our business and the flexibility to travel both within and outside of Mexico for more than 70% of the time. This is a remote position, and the candidate can be located anywhere within Mexico.
Position Scope
The Service Engineer role will focus on the installation, technical optimization, and troubleshooting of our equipment and products at customer sites. The position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring assigned installation and service projects. Additionally,
the role will focus on generating commercial insights based on field observations, training customers, developing customized solutions to meet client needs, and promoting our portfolio of release agents as well as other products and services. The candidate is also expected to quickly develop strong expertise in release agent products and their applications in order to provide comprehensive solutions to our clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare, schedule, and coordinate assigned field engineering projects. The primary activity will be the installation and servicing of industrial bakery equipment at customer sites across Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean.
- Maintain, update, and optimize equipment, ensuring that machinery operates according to customer-required specifications.
- Interact with customers to understand their requirements and design equipment solutions
