Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Production Supervisor located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, Production Supervisor role involves directing the manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines, ensuring they reach volume, quality and cost goals.
What a typical day looks like:
- Manages the production of several processes/lines in a highly technical environment and in charge of the line’s success.
- Evaluates daily/regularly plant operating performance and advises on changes in operating conditions that will improve efficiencies and quality.
- Troubleshoot and explore operational problems and advise on their resolution. Guide regular discussions with operators to coach performance and improve operational comprehension and capability.
- Solicits and evaluates ideas for plant improvements and contribute with qualified engineers to develop project proposals.
- Provides technical and operational advice to project teams.
- May act as principal interface between the operations team and the maintenance function.
- Engage in training and coaching of junior operators.




- Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply to meet customer requirements.
- Initiate and participate in process development and cost improvement projects.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing team members on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Ensures compliance of standards.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
- Experience as Production Supervisor.
- Knowledge in mechanical fabrication processes (punching, bending, stamping, welding, insertion, painting and mechanical assembly).
- Knowledge of production control systems (Serials, flows, traceability).
- Knowledge in specifications and standards related to metals.
- Experience in the use of Floor shop systems.
- Knowledge in assembly processes (End to End).
- Experience in BAAN system (SAP).
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret MPI.
