Job Summary

Responsible for the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, components, and services, ensuring compliance with Jabil's quality standards and operational requirements.

Job Responsibilities

* Execute purchase orders for assigned commodities and services, adhering to established purchasing policies and procedures.
* Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes for Jabil.
* Monitor supplier performance, including on-time delivery and quality, and escalate issues as necessary.




* Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., engineering, production, logistics) to understand material requirements and resolve supply chain issues.
* Maintain accurate purchasing records and update supplier information in the ERP system.
* Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within the procurement function.
* Support new product introduction (NPI) activities by ensuring timely material availability.
* Participate in supplier qualification and evaluation processes.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant Jabil policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 0-2 years of experience in procurement or a supply chain role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills.
