The Job:
The Senior Trade Compliance Specialist – Mexico is responsible for supporting and maintaining the company’s international trade compliance activities in Mexico. This role ensures adherence to applicable customs regulations, import/export requirements, and trade programs, with a strong focus on IMMEX compliance. The Sr. Specialist will work cross-functionally with import-export, logistics, procurement, operations, customs brokers, and legal/compliance teams to reduce risk,



maintain accurate documentation, and support efficient cross-border operations. You’ll get to:
- Monitor and support compliance with Mexican customs laws, foreign trade regulations, and internal trade compliance policies.
- Support IMMEX program compliance, including control of temporary imports, inventory reconciliation, annex requirements, reporting obligations, and audit readiness.
- Ensure accurate import and export documentation in accordance with Mexican regulatory requirements.
- Review customs declarations, tariff classifications, country of origin data, and valuation information for accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to resolve customs and trade-related issues.
- Support compliance with other applicable Mexican trade programs and certifications, as required.
