**Description**:
Responsible for the mechanical development of equipment/machinery for manufacturing processes, as well as continuous improvement projects and the implementation of new technologies. Participation in the implementation of new processes for new products.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Participate in cost-saving projects (Raw Material, Operational Personnel, Cycle Time, Scrap, Quality, etc.)
- Participate in the development of machines for new projects
- Modify processes for the implementation of continuous improvement projects
- Participate in the development of Automation and Control Projects
- Install machinery, layout changes, etc.
- Directly responsible for updating and controlling Mechanical Drawings of machinery and production equipment parts
- Develop prototypes and improvements in machines based on mechanical aspects/parts
- Meet goals set by Management and communicate them to the work team
- Interact with Maintenance Technicians and provide direction towards achieving department goals
- Interact with other departments to ensure the company's goals are met
- Other responsibilities may be assigned
- Support and participate in continuous improvement programs such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, among others
- Participate in continuous improvement projects according to operational needs
- Meet goals set by Management
- Maintain Order and Cleanliness
- Maintain Discipline and Respect
- Update mechanical drawings in the Tool Crib
**Skills, Knowledge & Expertise**:
- Completed Engineering degree
- World-Class Manufacturing Courses
- 3 Years of experience in a similar position
- Experience in 3D Design and Drawing (SolidWorks)
- Experience in PLCs, electronics, Pneumatics, Servo Motors
- Proven experience in automation and electrical control systems




- Basic knowledge in Vision systems, Robots, Laser Marking, and CNCs
