Descripción y detalle de las actividades
1. Work closely with the design team, production engineers, quality control, and suppliers to ensure manufacturability of products from prototype to mass production.
2. Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions to ensure manufacturability and cost reductions.
3. Conduct cost analysis for new designs, considering material costs, labor, tooling, and overall production costs.
4. Propose cost-saving strategies by identifying opportunities to simplify designs and reduce material waste without compromising quality.
5. Address issues related to process flow, cycle time, and quality control.
6. Support the creation of prototypes and conduct testing to ensure that designs meet functional and performance requirements.
7. Identify potential design and manufacturing issues early in the product development cycle.
8. Prepare reports and documentation on design changes, cost analyses, and manufacturing improvements.
9. Maintain design records, specifications, and revisions for future

2. Management/Leadership experience.

Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.
2. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
4. Detail-oriented with the ability to balance design and manufacturability.
5. Experience with cost estimation and process improvement.
6. Ability to identify design risks and proactively suggest solutions.
7. Excellent time management skills, communication skills, mathematical abilities and analytical abilities
8. Must be able to effectively communicate at all levels, from General Managers to Line Operators
9. Bilingual skills (English - Spanish)
