We are working with a supportive and specialist school in **Derby** seeking a passionate and experienced **SEN Teacher** to join their team full-time from **September**. The role involves working with pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH, in a nurturing and inclusive setting.
**Responsibilities**:
- Planning and delivering differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCPs
- Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
- Supporting students with complex needs, both academically and emotionally




- Working closely with support staff, therapists, and parents/carers
- Managing challenging behaviour using a positive and trauma-informed approach
**Requirements**:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
- Experience teaching in an SEN, SEMH, or alternative provision setting
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- A calm, patient, and resilient attitude
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
