What’s it for you:
As Automation Process Quality Engineer you will develop robust and reliable manufacturing processes related to Automation to support regular operations, NPD programs, and productivity initiatives in Monterrey facility. The Automation PQE should constantly meet Product/Project Costs, Quality,
and implementation schedule established by the project while being a mentor for the Automation team.
What you will do:
- Apply technical skills in developing Automation Processes (Welding and Assembly Fanuc Robots) achieving Process Control and Capability requirements, while meeting Safety Requirements.
- Define machine specifications, approval protocols, runoff, and installation requirements for Capital equipment related to Automation Equipment.
- Perform advanced problem solving using 6-Sigma, DOE, A3, 9 Step Problem Solving, and 5-Why tools to systematically determine root cause.
- Develop, maintain, and improve Automation processes.
- Design/select Automation tools and fixtures, define inspection process applying GD&T; principles.
- Analyze, develop and implement process improvements automation cells.
