Job Description Summary
PLM Configuration Control Board Chairperson (CCB) develops and maintains certification/ qualification/validation of a baseline product structure and manages changes in compliance with regulatory requirements while meeting business, production, field, and technical objectives. The discipline is a blend of technical, program and configuration management elements.
Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.
The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).

Roles and Responsibilities
- Own the product configuration architecture, this includes defining it and driving the business to maintain it
- Drive the platform and own conformance to the product change process
- Accelerate the execution of design changes and review,



approve/reject where appropriately
- Track and drive product change through incorporation on development, production, and fielded engines assuring changes and introductions are consistent with business requirements.
- Be responsible for the product configuration and documentation, ensuring compliance to GE / Partner and regulatory policies and best practices
- Chair Configuration Control Board
- Through participation in internal Tech Review, Joint Tech Review, Tollgate and PCB reviews; ​Remain abreast of all planned changes to the configuration in order to ensure accurate configuration control is being maintained throughout the initial design, preliminary testing, certification testing, and final certification periods.
- Manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) and the effectivity within Teamcenter
- Drive timely part setup, BOM loads, BOM releases, BOM changes to support new product introduction as well sustaining progra
