We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented **Senior Automation Tester**with expertise in **JavaScript**to join our team.
In this role, you will leverage your automation testing and software development experience to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and execute automated tests using modern frameworks and tools.
**Responsibilities**
- Design and create automated test frameworks using JavaScript and TypeScript
- Develop and execute automated test cases leveraging Playwright for web testing
- Utilize the Chai Assertion Library to write clear, reusable, and maintainable test scripts
- Implement behavior-driven development (BDD) testing strategies using Cucumber JS
- Maintain and manage test scripts and repositories using Git for version control
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine test strategies and approaches
- Identify, analyze, and document defects to support continuous improvement in automation processes
- Contribute to discussions on improving testing methodologies and best practices
**Requirements**:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- At least 3 years of experience in test automation using JavaScript and TypeScript
- Strong knowledge of the Chai Assertion Library for creating robust and reusable tests
- Proficiency in implementing BDD frameworks using Cucumber JS
- Experience using Git for version control and collaboration across teams
- Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills at a B2+ level or higher
**Nice to have**
- Familiarity with BitBucket for managing code repositories
- Understanding of Jenkins for automating continuous integration and deployment pipelines




- Experience using Jira for tracking tasks and managing projects
- Knowledge of the Xray plugin for Jira to integrate test management into workflows
