**Your Job**
As a Product Engineer at Molex, you will lead the setup and industrialization of Molex GDL systems for optical products. You will serve as the critical technical liaison between the manufacturing site and design centers, ensuring that all new and existing products meet required Fit, Form, and Function standards. You will own product documentation and technical records, coordinating cross-functional teams to resolve performance issues and drive successful product launches.
**Our Team**
You will be part of the Optical Solutions Business Unit division, working closely with design, engineering, quality, manufacturing, and planning teams. Our group focuses on sustaining and expanding optical product structures within manufacturing systems while fostering strong communication to support new product introductions (NPI) during key growth phases.
**What You Will Do**
- Manage product structures across multiple systems including SAP and MES to ensure accurate BOM and traceability.
- Collaborate with design centers early in the product lifecycle to gather and manage technical documentation, drawings, labeling, and specifications.
- Serve as the manufacturing site approver for Engineering Change Notifications, conducting impact analysis and coordinating change release.
- Standardize product documentation and records, sustaining continuous improvement across product families.
- Act as the technical point of contact for cross-departmental communication to resolve issues and ensure smooth product launches.
- Support key plant initiatives and adhere to control plans related to product quality and documentation.
- Maintain clean work environments and ensure proper use and care of assigned equipment and personal protective gear.
**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Physics, Photonics,



Mechatronics, or related field).
- Proven engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in Product Life-Cycle Management systems and MRP (preferably SAP).
- Experience managing BOMs, engineering changes, and interpreting technical drawings.
- Advanced professional proficiency in English.
- Methodical, detail-oriented, with strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Able to comply with physical, ergonomic, and safety requirements in production environments.
**What Will Put You Ahead**
- Knowledge or experience in Optical Fiber assemblies.
- Experience or support in New Product Introduction (NPI) engineering roles.
- Familiarity with labeling software such as LabelView, Bartender, or Loftware.
- Strong organization and change management abilities.
- Previous experience managing product documentation across multiple platforms (SAP, MES, Agile).
