As a **Security Officer - Store Driver Patrol** in **Santa Fe, NM**, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a retail environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing an approachable presence. You will regularly conduct patrols throughout the location, interact with guests and staff, and deliver outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, where you will use your attention to detail and communication skills to contribute to a secure and welcoming atmosphere. **What You'll Do**:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment.
- Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist visitors, customers and/or employees by providing directions and responding to inquiries in a courteous manner.
- Support access control procedures as required by the site-specific policies.
- Partner with local law enforcement or emergency personnel if situations arise that require their assistance.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
