nVent is seeking a Legal Specialist to support the Mexico legal function with a strong focus on labor compliance, supplier oversight, and corporate governance execution. This role is designed to provide hands‑on compliance and documentation support in an increasingly complex Mexican regulatory environment.
The Legal Specialist will work closely with the Regional Counsel and cross‑functional partners to manage day‑to‑day compliance activities, reduce reliance on outside counsel, and ensure consistent, timely filings and documentation across all Mexico entities.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Labor Compliance & Supplier Oversight
- Support compliance with Mexico’s labor reform requirements, including oversight of specialized service providers and subcontractors.
- Coordinate REPS related documentation, supplier registrations, and ongoing monitoring of labor and social security compliance.
- Partner with Procurement, HR, and Operations to ensure required documentation is collected, reviewed, and maintained.
- Support preparation for and response to STPS and labor related audits, including documentation tracking and internal coordination.
- Maintain audit ready records and compliance trackers across all Mexico sites.
Corporate Governance & Regulatory Filings:
- Manage day to day corporate governance and entity compliance activities across Mexican entities.
