The Role
As a Linux Systems Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll be responsible for supporting and maintaining Linux-based operating systems in enterprise production environments. In this role, you ensure system availability, stability, performance, and security while meeting defined service levels.

You are a hands-on technical professional who manages server operations, resolves incidents, and troubleshoots complex system issues. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, you contribute to reliable service delivery, operational excellence,



and continuous improvement across infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Linux operating systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE) in production environments.
- Perform server installation, configuration, hardening, patching, and ongoing maintenance.
- Monitor system health, analyze logs, and troubleshoot performance, availability, and service issues.
- Respond to incidents and service requests within defined SLAs, ensuring timely resolution.
- Document operational procedures and collaborate with other technology towers such as database, middleware, cloud, and storage teams.
